Why would anybody display the confederate flag,considering how bad they got their *** kicked?

Perhaps a lasting symbol of State's rights?? As most of us know, the Civil War was not fought over the issue of slavery, but was about economics/taxation and politics. The 'Slavery' cause was thrown out there by the North to make the conflict appear to be "Noble".

You know..............I see a lot more Mexican Flags than Confederate Flags, and Santa Anna received one of the worst @55 kickings in military history.

It was only banned from government buildings. People in the south will always fly it high. Why don't you go down south and tell them about it? Then post what the results were, if your able.

I don't know. They clam to be "Murrika lovin patriots" but they love the flag that is inherently anti American.
