Is -8.50 bad eyesight? I m -8.50 in glasses prescription and I m wondering how bad this really is. Like without glasses am I legally blind?

    There is no such thing as legally blind without glasses.

    Legally blind is someone who can't see better than 20/200 with glasses ON in the best eye.

    You likely see very well with your glasses on so there is no legal blindness.

    I know you don't see anything much without glasses , but that doesn't count.

    My eyes are slightly worse than that and I drive every day. And I'm not considered "legally blind"
