What I would do if I were in charge of NASCAR.
1). Scrap The Chase, (it is a failed gimmick, and has done more to harm the sport than anything else), but keep the simpilfied points system
2). Create a driver's court for on--track incidents like rhe 2015 CampingWorld.com 500, the process goes like this, NASCAR reviews the evidence immediately after the race, and if they suspect any wrongdoing, they refer the suspected parties to the Driver's Court, which consists of drivers elected by their peers, and they decide whether to punish or not, and what punishment is needes. This is only for driver related incidents
3).Get rid of some of the dumb rules, like the lucky dog, but keep the GWC, Double File Restarts and Wave-Around rules
4). Break Up the ISC and SMI monopoly,
5). End technical alliances, by considering SHR cars as Hendrick cars due to the equipment being Hendrick equipment
6). Local Cautions at road courses only

Might as well change the name of the T.V. show. You are taking allot of nascar's manipulation of the outcome of a race away. That would NEVER fly. Baloney stories, lies and controversy is nascar, it is their brand. Driver's court....WHAAAAAT ? yeah that is certainly not prejudiced, is it ?
I suggest a new name......" Stock Car Racing ". A real race, points are pure B.S. for losers. One winner, get there first you win. Pretty simple set of rules to have a REAL race. It is not me who made nascar a joke. Brian France, D.W., Michel Waltrip, McReynolds, the not as funny as he thinks > Kenny Wallace ( the definition of a jerk ), Kyle Petty, and a real fool > Jimmy Spencer. You could not make a crumb of integrity with all together.
