What makes a greenhouse work? Is it the plants themselves that create the heat that makes them work?

    No, it isn't the plants. You know what it's like sitting in a car in the sun with the windows closed, how hot it can get? Greenhouses work the same way. They allow the sun to heat them up. If the sun shines in and heats things up but the heat can't escape, they stay warmer than outdoors is.You can also put heaters in them

    When the sun go through the glass into the greenhouse,the ray of light heating the green house,and the glass of the green can be heat preservation,so the green house is warm.the green house is built by glass.

    No, it is the sunlight that comes in and heat that is produced by decomposition in the soil. Plants produce oxygen and emit water vapor but they do not produce heat.
