I can't export videos from my mac onto my iPad / iPhone?

I've tried airdrop - whilst my phone and iPad can find each other, the mac cannot. (I've checked wifi and bluetooth are on)

I tried an iCloud shared album, however the option to save was greyed out

I tried connecting the iPad to the mac with a cable, however I was only able to put photos from the iPad onto the mac, not the other way around.

Please help, I'm on a time limit!

    Import the videos into iTunes and then sync the video over that way
