Where the heck are all my videos on my laptop?

Update:

I have a 2014 macbook pro. I have an Iphone 5s..One day after my phone crashed i of course lost everything on my phone because i did not back it up. But even thought i didnt back it up on my icloud shouldnt it still be in my laptop somewhere? My pictures from the previous time are. just not the video and I am so confused.

    Were they backed up on the computer?

    If not, then of course they wouldn't be there either.
