Is Naruto worth watching?

it's not terrible, but because it is so long it's easy to lose interest after a couple hundred episodes. also, because it's one of those long series, the plot arcs tend to drag on too long until you're just begging for it to end so something else can happen.

people might not like what i'm about to say but i seriously did not really care for Naruto there is a lot of fillers and i mean A LOT!! i read the manga and they added a ridiculously large amount of things (NOT GOOD THINGS) to the anime just for the sake of dragging out the series. when i say things i mean entire story arcs when you would really like the story to go on and get to the main goal to go from point a to point b. a good example of this is when in the story they were trying to find someone the manga had them go straight to finding him. The anime however had them go look for a tracking bug which was rare so it was hard to find. So it ended up taking like 7 or 8 episodes only for everything they did to have been a useless waste of time. The series is filled with things like that. So over all NO it doesn't have a good story the manga does but the anime does NOT have a good story. I haven't watched Naruto Shippuden yet but i hear it is much better.

The characters are ok Naruto the main character kind of reminds you of Goku he is goofy, strong and determined to accomplish great things. Sasuke who is the side character you will see the most of is pretty cool however he isn't very interesting. He is a stereotypical vengeance driven character he is kind of presented that way right off the bat. Sakura to put it blunt is kind of boring and for the majority of the series basically serves as a type of third wheel she has a few moments where she shines but a few episodes out of hundreds doesn't justify her.

The action is very important in this series and it is absolutely terrible for some reason they felt the need to put constant flash backs in every fight literally EVERY FIGHT sometimes as the fighters are crossing blows they will have a flashback mid punch and it's ridiculous and i am not exaggerating when i say that it is this bad. There was a very built up fight in particular where the flashbacks extended one fight multiple episodes and might i add a few of those episodes were flashbacks started in the previous episode.

overall i did not like Naruto i recommend that you watch DBZ instead the story and characters are better and the action is awesome.

Naruto is my favorite animie it's very good but there are points that make you not wanna watch I would recommend u start on naruto part one first

Mm NARutO-kuuun,,, yes watch it,, may be a boreing start but when you get to Naruto Shippuden its def worth it!
