Would you read this book? Idk if I want to keep writing it or not. Should I?

I see you. The world of you. you can’t see me because i’m hidden. Margret’s the name. I am a detective. A spy.People think because I am young I imagine. I don’t. I work for a secret agency called the S.O.S. No, it is not the S.o.s you are thinking of. I can’t tell you but it does have something to do with rescuing. You might be wondering how old am I. Well i’m 15. It’s not much of a secret how old I am. There are many 15 year olds in my organization. There are a lot of things you might wonder about me. I might not answer all of them but I will leave those up too you. It’s too dangerous to tell you everything about me. I don’t know who will be reading this. It could be my arch nemesis, The (Idk yet). They are pure evil. They tried to take over the world three times. I had to save the world four times. If you don’t believe me I guess I can tell you about a crime I had to save.

Update:

plz note I am only 13....

1.) It is very poorly written. I suggest that you read more books (actual books), and take the time to study the art of writing. That is what someone serious about writing would do, which by your initial question, I highly doubt that is you.

2.) 1st person POV puts me off immediately. That is especially so when the story starts off with the protagonist describing what they are in a monologue.

3.) The protagonist is a teenage girl. This takes my interest in the story from 100% to about 5%. Off the bat I have already attatched too many negative clichés to the character. It is sad that teenagers are so poorly represented in writing.

4.) I have just about had it with stories that put children in roles that they are ill-equipped for. What kind of government/corporation/organization would utilize teens as spies? It makes no sense.

5.) Write whatever you want to write, and do what ever makes you happy. I am not trying to discourage you from writing, we are all beginners once.

If you really want an honest answer, it is probably better to give us a good example of your work. This excerpt is riddled with errors and, if your manuscript is anything like this, I wouldn't read it. At least not until you edit it thoroughly.

Also, the fact that you are this insecure and have to seek feedback this early on is bad. Sure it is good to seek feedback, but that feedback shouldn't be "Based on this small and very roughly written summary/beginning, should I continue?". The feedback should be: "I have written and edited this novel several times. Could you please tell me if I missed anything? And how is the plot, character development and narrative?".

Forget about opinions. Keep writing, finish it, edit it several times and then ask us.

So, you don't know if you want to keep writing your story? And you're asking us if you should continue? Is this a joke? What if I told you that I wouldn't read this and it's full of errors, would you still continue to write? I don't think so. WRITE FOR YOURSELF. Forget about our opinions. Finish your story and edit it several times.

    Good luck!

If you have to ask then stop.

You are not a writer yet.

Go study and read some more.

    Maybe, it's a bit unoriginal
