What is the difference. Between. A Chevy 1500 4.8 and a 4x4 w a 5.3 motor?

    Come on now folks. It is not only 1/2 a liter but also the number of wheels driven should the 1500 be a 2X4. Also, depending on the year of manufacture, 4.8s came with a 4 speed transmission and the 5.3s had a 5 speed transmission standard. Speaking of automatics of course as the V8s were supposedly not available with manual transmissions. This is another case of if you have to ask you don't need to know.
