Free online high school?

I asked this question before and all people wanted to do was spit out facts. I live in Georgia and I want to be online schooled. I heard k12 was bad but does anyone have any experience? Thanks

Since they are public school correspondence programs, each K12 program is a little different. So what may be a bad program in one area is good in another. Students study similar curriculum as the sponsoring public school except the work is done online. It also depends on your learning style. If you are self-motivated and don't procrastinate, you may do well. Someone who isn't self-motivated, gets easily distracted, or procrastinates won't like it.

Oh no, people answered with facts instead of opinions, how horrible. You didn't ask about GACA specifically, you asked about "free online schools" without mentioning what state and then said you heard that K12 doesn't allow you to work ahead and isn't flexible. The ironic thing is that I am in GA and my answer in your other question is based on knowing several people using GACA in real life.

Facts are what you need to make an informed decision. If you'd rather get your information from a boiler room sales team that gets a commission on enrolling you, all you have to do is call the 800 number. I'm sure they will tell you whatever you want to hear.
