How to I convince my girlfriend to stop trying to self diagnose?

The latest instance of this is yesterday my girlfriend rolls her ankle. She does a whole lot of internet research and comes to the conclusion that she has torn a ligament. She now keeps talking about the surgery she has to go have and all this stuff as if she knows for an absolute fact it's torn. I'm not saying anything this time because she gets real mad when I do. On more than one occasion this has happened and when we got to the hospital I was right that she was exaggerating and it was something minor we didn't need to go to the hospital for. But she just won't listen to me. How to you talk to someone like this?

    How about you don't bother?

Look, it's annoying that she's kind of a hypochondriac, but she's not doing it to be mean to you or out of a desire to annoy. So you can either put it on the list of "annoying things my partner does that I can live with," that literally everybody in a relationship has, or you can break up if you can't live with it.

She's a hypochondriac, she'll need some time to loose the anxiety, or at least that what had helped me, I proved myself wrong several times, now I know that I'm over exagerating

I don't think convincing is the right way to go about it. Because her behavior is caused by her feelings and not by her logic.

You need to change her feelings from that of anxiety to that of well-being. And this you can do by showing her more affection and pleasing her sexually too, if you are having sex with each other.

and that's the reason why we never self diagnose ourselves and listen to what we read because if we did we would have everything in the book and how do you talk to them by just listening to them and agreeing with them
