Yes they are. Anyone born 1980-2010 are Generation Y.

Y should I get a job? Y should leave home and find my own place? Y should I get a car when I can borrow someone else's? Y should I clean my room? Y should I wash my own clothes? Y should I buy any food?

Not everyone in the current generation is rude and without manners, but many of them are.

This is only my observation, but this generation is being sidetracked by electronics, which, I believe makes people so preoccupied that they do not mind their manners. And, that goes for many people and not just this generation.

All depends on the people you look at. There are some real young ladies and gentlemen who are very polite and pleasant to be around and there are some young devils who don't have any respect.

No one is born with manners, so any generation can be rude.

Yes, they are not taught at the same level as your great grandparents. I say great grandparents because todays grandmothers were raised at a time where morals dwindled.

yeah, and also dumb. sorry to say, but i think technology and the current type of rap that gets played on the radio is dumbing this generation down.

most of the kids i encounter are a pleasure to be around. what do they have in common? great parents.
