    Yes as Bricklayer says. Also in Scotland The Cairngorns National Park or the various Scottish Islands.

    In England the Northumbria National Park or in the Pennines or in parts of the Peak District National Park.

    Also in South West England the Exmoor or Dartmoor National Parks or the Forest of Dean

    On mainland Britain you'll need to head for the Highlands of Scotland for 'remote' but even there you're never more than a sellphone call away from civilization.

    St Kilda, but that usually requires a seagoing boat.

    The various islands around the coast - Shetlands, Orkneys, and Western Isles, in Scotland, the Scillies and Lundy in England.
