Is there a way to describe how squids swim?

I'm just wondering if in English, or in any other language there is a different way to describe how squids move through water versus how fish move through water. There is obvious mechanical differences and I feel that labelling them all under the blanket term "Swim" Would be like saying that your car walks down the road.

    Jet propulsion.

Squid, like octopus, propel themselves by taking in water through vents(like gills) and forcing it out their mouth parts. Think jet propulsion for the water.

They also use their arms for movement in water so in sense, do swim.
