Can I leave a job without having to work there another 2 weeks?
I'm a delivery driver and just got into my first major car accident about a month ago while coming back from a delivery. Just a week later the rental car my mom rented for me also got hit by another stupid driver from the back, but thankfully it wasnt as bad in damages. I've got to be the most unluckiest person to get hit twice within 2 weeks. But anyways now i've been somewhat traumatized and scared of driving now, especially back and forth in the dark. Also I just a got a new car too and i do NOT wanna be driving this car back forth for 4-5 hours straight since i still gotta get used to it. I want to leave my job immediately. Is this possible without it looking bad? Because I have a good reason to want to leave. I really don't feel safe and comfortable delivering pizzas no more.

Of course. Most places with delivery drivers are used to high turnover anyway. Just tell them you feel unsafe, get the rest of your shifts covered if you have any, then bounce. You probably won't be much of an asset to them anyway if you are scared to drive...

a job like that, yes just leave. Just tell them you're resigning immediately. put it in writing.

Do NOT put anything in writing. Just walk in, say today is my last day, and be honest if they ask why.
