Will medicare pay for a cochlear implant?

    I would think if someone needed a cochlear implant it would be considered medically necessary. I have no idea if medicare pays for any of it though. I would call & find out.

    No. Hearing aids aren't covered.

    No. It's not medically necessary.

    People can't see without glasses and medicare doesn't pay for those...hearing aids aren't covered either.

    Call an audiologist and ask if they take Medicare.
