Is this person/photo legit?
I met a girl online and she sent me this photo. I would like to know if anyone can tell me how to verify who this girl is in the photo. I went to google images and the photo didn't show up as being anywhere else on the internet, often scammers use the same photos over and over. But it still could be a false identity. Is there anyway I can confirm or verify who this is? Thank you.

Did you reverse Google Image by clicking the camera icon and uploading the photo? aka Not just looking her name up or something. You can also try https://www.tineye.com/ as a reverse look up which sometimes shows different results than Google Image
P.S. - She is really pretty, whomever she is :)

A reverse image search ONLY works if the picture is on a homepage. It cannot pick up pictures from somoeone's Facebook album or a photo they were tagged in. Scammers know this which is why they now copy pics off of albums that can't be searched
If you are curious you ALWAYS ask for a Skype call. Only a scammer will have excuses why they can't video chat with you - too shy, cam not working , they can't use Skype, etc. But any excuse means they are fake and you need to cut off contact. You NEVER talk to anyone more than a week without insisting on a live video chat. If they refuse block them - they are a catfish

I can't find anything online but you never know they could have got it from someone's Instagram, FB, or some other place online. If you truly want to know if she is legit, have her take a photo with your name on a piece of paper, a silly face while she is balancing a spoon on her nose, etc. Anything!
Edit: darn the other user beat me to the answer ):

Nobody can be absolutely certain about the origin of a photo seen on the internet. All you can say about that photo from clues in the background is that it looks as if taken in "The West", e.g. Europe, USA, or similar - but even that is not certain.

Ask her to send you a picture of her with a paper that says your name on it. Just ask her to send you a specific photo so you can know she is legit. Or add her on snapchat !

You know it's not proper etiquette to publicly show that picture in public without permission don't you?
