When I attempt to answer a question and it comes up with an error of "privacy violation" what does that mean?

The one I regularly see is "Security" issues, not privacy. If that is what you mean, it is generally triggered by the ADS on the right side of the page. Many of those don't have the proper security certificate and trigger alerts from your browser. You can try using an ad blocker, or you can copy your answer, refresh the page, paste the answer and give it another try.
