Solve the following equation for z: 15 = 10z/[2-(2x4)]?

    do them in BEDMAS order: the item in the innermost brackets first (2x4)

    then the next brackets [2-(2x4)]

    then Division and Multiplication: 10z/[2-(2x4)]

    you will want to simplify by dividing both halves of the fraction by the same number to find z.

    I make it z = -9

    15 = 10z/[2 - 8]

    15 = 10z/-6

    -90 = 10z

    -9 = z
