Pain under my breasts from underwire?

I was making out with my boyfriend yesterday and I was laying on top of him for a while and sometimes he'll hug me really tight and the underwire in my bra was kinda pressing into my skin and when I got home and took my bra off, there was redness and now it hurts to the touch but the redness is gone. Should I just wait for the pain to go away or is this something serious?
