Suddenly awoke from jump scare in dream?
Last night was pretty normal, fell asleep quickly but at 6:20am, I woke up from a dream where I had a birds eye view of a city, probably NYC, at night and it was kind of rainy or foggy. But then all of a sudden, a scary face popped out of nowhere, in front of blackness, the city was gone instantly.
As soon as it appeared I could hear myself breathe heavily and my body jolted in surprise and I woke up and was terrified for some reason. The face was an old womans face with a demon-like smile. I think she was from the movie "dead silence" when I watched it a few years ago, but never thought of it since then.
Could this mean anything?
I do watch a ton of jump scare-y horror movies with friends and they never affect my dreams, or anything really. I just like the feeling of being scared and not in actual danger. As for the spirit in my house, well sometimes I notice things rush past my eyes, or move out from the corner of my eye and it's always in the form of something like a white towel, or part of a white gown or something. I usually pay not attention to it and deem it as my eyes playing tricks on me.

I doubt it's the house. It usually isn't, but the person you saw, (What is a demon-like smile?) is just active dream sleep, with anticipation of the jump. Isn't it funny that it's a jump-scare? I've never heard of that.

May have a spirit in your house.
Update:
Yeah spirits usually are in white form mists at least from my experiences. I had one attack me in my sleep and got rid of it using a spell. I'm Wiccan and deal with this type of stuff regularly lol
