Why did people seemed much more sympathetic with the Victoria Lindsay case than the girl that got beaten unconscious on the bus?

A long time ago the middle school girl in Florida got beaten unconscious on the school bus by the group of kids, because she wanted somewhere to sit. It was on YouTube and I saw a lot of trolls commenting and people was saying she deserved it because she used the N word or something. There was a few that was sympathetic about it on another site it was on. But with that cheerleader Victoria Lindsay, who got beat up by the bunch of girls and videotaped. It was on YouTube and she got loads of sympathy and anger. People talked about how they wanted to kill the girls and many showed concerned. Victoria Lindsay had a bunch of support pages on MySpace and Facebook. But there was nothing for the girl that got beaten up on the bus. She got beaten just as badly and as just as many kids. The only difference was nobody videotaped it.

The Victoria Lindsay attack was a premeditated ambush by supposed friends that lasted for over 30 minutes. The attack you describe sounds spontaneous so that's another difference. Victoria Lindsay was a cheerleader, probably very pretty. That makes a difference. I mean if you could point at the actual video I could probably break down a whole list of reasons why people react differently to the Lindsay case.

But right you're not looking for an actual answer. Here's what you are looking for:

    People suck.
