Where is a good place to buy a comforter?
The walls in my bedroom are like a magenta color and my carpet is dark purple and my furniture is white. I currently have a plain black comforter with pink zebra stripped sheets (I was 16 when we painted my room). Now, I am 21 years old and I am looking for a new comforter and sheets. I have looked at Urban Outfitters and Target and have not had any luck! Anyone know what colors I could be on the hunt for? Also, what stores carry cheap comforters? Any advice would be great!! Thank you everyone! :)

I don't see anything wrong with your current comforter color; it's only the sheets that are out of place. It's much easier to use black or white with strong colors like magenta and dark purple than to find a comforter that matches your carpet. However, choosing a comforter with a purple print on a white or light background can meld your color scheme while changing the look of the room.
Consider painting your walls a light taupe. While taupe is most often a grayish tan; it can have tints from other colors. See this link for color comparison. http://1.bp.blogspot.com/-Z8uacCMuYz4/T6juDyO5VcI/... Note, however, that not all taupe paints will have taupe in the name.
To answer your question, most department stores now have online stores that carry much more than is available locally. Here are a couple. Do a search for other stores that you like.
