Poll about leaving this planet.?

Let's say one day that some government officials knock on your door one day and tell you that our sun is dying, but they are building space ships to take you to another planet.

You are not allowed to take anyone with you but you are allowed to either take three items with you or give your ticket to someone else instead.

What would be your choice and why.

Update:

This is of course assuming we have capable space craft and an Earth like planet to which we could move to. And if you were to give your ticket away to whom would you give it to?

P.S. The sun would be estimated to go completely out within 5 to 10 years.

I'll give my ticket to someone else. There'd be a risky chance of trusting the government making sure if the sun is ACTUALLY dying, even if they give "proof" it may be altered proof that makes sense by creative scientists rather than by a raw student discovering phenomenal things on their own without government funding who says something else. Plus human DNA is made for Earth not for other planets. And even if we do survive on the other planet we won't know instantly what's safe for us and what isn't and quite easily may die depending on how many people go.

I'll assume that day the person comes is in about 5 billion years from today, when the sun is estimated to die (I think), and for the sake of this question I'll assume that the technology is the same as it is today, so no spaceship that can effectively and safely deliver me to a far off planet that can support human life within my lifetime.

Anyways, I'd probably decline the offer and leave the ticket for someone else, I don't think taking the offer would put me in a better position, the technology for spaceships and such is only so good and I doubt I'd be able to get to a planet able to support human life, if one exists (other than earth) and if the sun died, I don't think I'd be in much of a better position in the spaceship than on earth. It'd still get really cold on the spaceship without the hearth of the sun, I don't eliminate my need for it by going on a spaceship.

I would stay, and grant my ticket to someone else, especially if I could pick someone I felt deserving.

    WHY?

    1) Because I'm old. Someone younger could benefit from my sacrifice

    2) I have a 6 year supply of firewood and can easily access all I want, so I won't freeze to death.

    3) I can turn my Florida room into a garden, and probably supply myself with food to survive long enough to die a natural death, or I could scavenge glass from all the abandoned homes left behind by those who leave the planet and fashion a greenhouse that would increase the food supply, at least til the Sun dims enough to become useless..
