How to connect two PS4s to play together?
We re in the same room, but we want to play on different screens offline together so how do we do it? We connected a Ethernet cable from one PS4 to the other to play on a LAN game specifically on black ops 3 but it doesn t work. I have no idea what I m doing

Well for starters you must be signed in to play black ops 3 at all. There is no offline mode, however for games that do have LAN both PS4s need to be connected to the same wireless network. Then it will scan the devices on that network and connect from there.

You need to connect them to a router, not sure if games still have LAN (I guess they do for Esports) but you can't just connect them to the same Ethernet cable.

I don't think there are any games that have a LAN mode. It's not common for people to want to do this anymore, thus the emphasis in online capabilities.
