Because children nowadays are self absorbed, self centered and believe they are entitled and can do no wrong. Often they learn it from the parents and know the parents will go running to the teacher to complain about their treatment of little Johnny. Kids learn it from their parents.

Totally agree. It's because parents these days don't want their kids to experience anything negative. When something negative happens, they're actually convinced that it's illegal. It's ridiculous.
