This is not a history question. But they pretty much tried to trademark "react" videos which upset a lot of people.

They basically claimed that they had come up with the idea behind the 'react' videos (eg. kids react, elders react etc.) which annoyed loads of people. And then they acted as if they were giving people the privilege to make their own 'react' videos, which again angered lots of people.
