At the rate we're going today, we're all gonna be comatose by suppertime.

I was skeptical about Apple Music, like I am about most of their products, but I must say I'm in love. Since subscribing I have found countless new artists that have that 60s and 70s rock sound, and many also happen to have a shitload of talent. Apparently, ever since Jack White and the Black Keys made it big, there has been a mini blues rock revival... and no, it doesn't sound like the "new" Black Keys stuff either. I know your question was satirical, but ****, I thought I'd share any ways.

Radio Moscow, Black Pistol Fire, Blues Pills, Gary Clark Jr. and the Stone foxes, just to name a few... This doesn't even scratch the surface.

Omg I know right? I'm only 13 years old and I listen to legendary bands like KISS, Green Day, and Nickelback and no one understands me in school so I guess that makes me SUPER edgy. Also everyone's taste in music sucks these days. My favorite bands are My Chemical Romance, Panic at the Disco, and All Time Low. No good music anywhere, it's depressing.

You haven't looked hard enough. It sure as hell isn't in the top 40 but there is great music being made still. Muse, Silversun Pickups, and Modest Mouse all released rock albums last year.

There are plenty of good musicians in all kinds of styles. What gets radio play is what the music industry wants to promote, what they can make money from. We have a local college station where people can play whatever they like. I listen because then almost everything is something I have not heard before.
