Hi, am I eligible for the Royal Navy?

I am thinking about joining the Royal Navy, specifically as a warfare officer, but I'm not sure how to interpret my prescription. My right eye is: Sph: -4.50 Cyl:+3.00 Axis:77 1/2. The Prism and base boxes are blank for both eyes My Left eye is : Sph: -3.50 Cyl: +3.00 Axis: 97 1/2. In the comments box it says VA 6/6 R+C.

Thanks in advance.

    Yes you qualify.

Whatever branch you are applying for, with the exception of Chaplain, your spectacle or contact lens correction must not be greater than +/- 6.00 dioptres. For Chaplains the correction must not be greater than +/- 7.00 dioptres.
