Should Walmart sponsor a nascar team?
Now that Walmart has a logo and a color that everyone recognizes, they could buy Jeff Gordon's number.
Think about it. The car is painted Walmart blue above the # 24 is "open" below it is "hours"..On the front of the car is "save money", on the back is "live better"

Just so you know the numbers are leased to the team owners by NASCAR annually.
I think there was talk of Walmart sponsoring in NASCAR at a point but I guess it fell through.
But they have sponsored in the past

Sponsorships are generally priced AND assessed by demographics. The age, the income, the number of people who may see the ads. You know nascar viewership is DOWN don't cha ? In finalizing the deal the advertiser then assesses, if said entity represents the image of the company.
Now, with all the lies, noticing the nascar talkers...Michel Waltrip is a GREAT example. Was caught trying to "fix" the championship qualification race, was caught stealing Jack Roush's property, countless lies...and so on. Then consider DW, McReynolds, Kenny Walace, Kyle Petty, you know the nascar chosen talkers, can you see any integrity there ? How could ANY company be associated with those guys ?
Michel Waltrip lost the NAPA sponsorship purely due to his own decisions, they had enough integrity to bail. Any company with any integrity left, could not add their reputation to nascar.

If they want to they can sponsor a team, but I don't know if it will be #24 since Hendrick owns the number, unless they want to sponsor Chase Elliott

If they paid money to a race team, they would have to lower the $1.50 per hour that they pay the employees, because the Walton family would not want to give up their billions in profits.
