Why are Calvin Johnson and Marshawn Lynch retiring?

It seems so early for them to retire.

Lynch, as the running back he was, it's time.

Johnson is sick of poor coaching and being on a crappy team. He see's no change for the future either especially with his contract numbers. So he is doing what Barry did, bowing out early.

Actually, my best guess is that Calvin Johnson and Marshawn Lynch probably developed a poor work ethic during this offseason. However, if Johnson and Lynch rededicate themselves to work hard and perform very well in practice every day, they will greatly improve their chances of getting signed to play for an NFL team in the future.

Because they want to retire. It's not that early, especially for Lynch.

They've got enough money, they want to do other things. Or maybe do nothing.

Johnson's retiring because he's tired of playing for a crappy organization. Lynch is retiring because no one will miss him.

CJ had alot of injuries, makes sense to step down as his best years are behind him. Lynch just isnt very good anymore.

Because, they've made enough money that they can retire to take care of their health to be able to enjoy the future.

They've made more than enough money, so they've decided their bodies can't take the pounding anymore plus the concern with brain injuries.

They are rich and still have resonably good health and really don't need the NFL for survival

Tired of all of the BS.
