I'm putting my name on the ballot for my state legislature. Am I in over my head?
I know how to get my name on the ballot and think I have a slim shot at winning. I'm 25 and have never been involved in politics but always stay up on the issues of the day. Only have high school diploma and worked blue collar jobs. What would I be doing specifically and am I in over my head if I win?

You won't win. You'd be helping to make laws and create budgets if you won. But you won't win. Try getting appointed to a city commission first, then eventually running for city council, school board or something like that. You have to work your way up.
