Am I having a heart attack or a panic attack?

When I move my left arm certain ways, my inner, upper left chest is hurting. If I put pressure anywhere with my hand there is no soreness. The pain is faint when I do not move my arm. It's not an extreme pain, but it is noticeable and sharp. This pain has continued for over an hour. It does not feel like there is anything going to happen or happening.

If you're young than heart attack is not likely. Can be but it's not normal. But it can be panic attack. You need to go and see your doctor, because he know better than people on the internet.

Doesn't sound like a heart attack or anything. But if you are over say 35 and it persists, see a doctor asap.

I am 37 and I just experienced my first heat attack with no prior history of heart problems so yes you can.
