Why do people still believe in religion?? In modern era so called "god" does not help and its been over 2000 years before a insighting.?

I have proof that god helps people....let me lay it down, the proof is that i didnt die at the young age of 2, let me elaborate...I have a seizure disorder(more commonly known as epilepsy), i developed it at the age of 2, the day i had my first seizure i was eating cereal, and then it struck, i started seizing and began to choke on the cereal, i started turning blue in the face, thankfully my mom was there and able to get some help from the neighboors, however this is a miracle primarily due to the fact of what my mom was going to do before i had the seizure, she was going to head out to the store, and leave me in the care of my older sisters, if my mom had left, i probably would have not survived my first episode, and wouldn't even be writing this.

Only the people enlightened enough to accept there is a God are able to "believe in religion".

There is a giant sea of countless people who have not been called or chosen and religion is only foolishness to them, its supposed to be that way.

I guess you can be happy to know which side youre on.

That's like asking why can we still believe what we want. And whatever you believe, you should look back and look a lot closer to every detail of your life so far. Think about what could have happened, but didn't.

with each passing day more proof of God shows up.
