I work for an accounting firm and we have a temp that is working with us.?

Question

Every time she goes to the bathroom and wipe her hands she left it on the counter. My boss is so angry at her and want me to approach her about the mess. what should i do. we really need her at the company as we are overwhelmed. Please help. She is mexican and she told us how neat and organized she is.

First put up a sign: Please put paper towels in the trash Thank you.

If after a week that is not working...ask her to meet with you privately and say : Please stop leaving paper towels around.  When you are finished, please put them in the trash.

Then, if she says 'I'm not doing it." you can start talking to other people in the office who might be doing it to get her fired.

And, by the way, being Mexican has nothing to do with it.  As a matter of fact, you could have left that part out completely.....

Unless you're the temps boss somehow, refuse.  You're not in charge of personnel problems.
