Does Uber accept visa gift cards?

I have a Visa gift card. Will the Uber cab service accept it? And what happens if I don t have enough on my card for the ride?

    You can input the card and see if it accepts it before it requests a driver. Also, if it's your first time riding with Uber, don't forget to enter in the code TUPU4, which will cover the first $15-20 for your ride (amount varies by city).

    Never tried it. Not sure.

    I know BJs Wholesale online does not. Netflix and redbox do not and many subscription sites also do not.

    I would say probably not.

    You attach payment to the account before you even get the ride.
