Help? Formatted NTFS 1 TB External Hard Drive to FAT 32 with some software and now it's not showing up anywhere? I wanna format it to NTFS?
I did this so I could do something with it but now it wont show up anywhere and now I need it back to NTFS... Anyone help?
alright thanks Jeremy.. Is it possible I could take it back to radioshack and they could do it for me? they're really nice there.. and i dont have linux anymore...

Uh-oh, bad idea haha... Windows won't recognize it in some cases... You'll have to boot into a linux distribution and change it from there.... You can run Ubuntu, Mint Linux, or really almost anything that's not server grade (what's the point)... Install it on a usb, boot into it, and change it.... It will delete anything on the external drive though... Not that reformatting it to FAT32 didn't already erase everything...
You can google how to do most of the steps I outlined.

Radioshack, at least the ones around here, won't do it for you... They're a retail store, not a repair service. (At least here). You could have someone like Best Buy look at it, but it's going to be pricey... You can download linux for free...

Generally this can be fixed easily in terms of FAT32 and NTFS. Formatting software (including the one in Windows you can't see anymore) will allow you to format it to NTFS.
Just use some special software to diagnose flash storage devices.
