MORTAL KOMBAT X ?FROST?

Theres one very obvious reason Frost isn't included - she's just not a very good character.

Her entire existence is governed by one thing - she's a female Sub-Zero. There's nothing else of any interest about her, and she has never been a big fan favourite.

Hell, her appearance in the MKX story was just as an "angry person".There's just no substance there.

Sure, maybe that could be written into the story, and develop her a bit, but there was nowhere in the MKX story which really would have allowed or that. Netherrealm wanted to push the four new characters and adding Frost to that would have been extremely redundant (and awkward if she was alongside Takeshi, a member of the Shirai Ryu).

I can see the new Special Forces team introduced in MKX expanding if they keep that storyline going in MK 11, maybe by including some of the younger characters like Frost, but the story of MKX was about introducing the new generation, and there was no room to try to write Frost within that.

That and, like I said, she's just never been a popular character. At all.
