Just asking your partner to use hormonal birth control isn't sufficient, as another answer suggests. At some point you will need to use a condom. Unless you plan on sleeping with one committed partner for the rest of your life.

What I'd suggest is making a visit to your local sex shop (or online shop). There are infinite varieties of condoms out there that may help. Trial and error will help you figure out why condoms are uncomfortable for you. Some guys need to purchase a larger or smaller size to be comfy. Some guys need more or less lubrication. Some guys find latex irritating and need an alternative. Some guys just have less sensation and need to purchase ultra thin condoms to make up for it.

Regardless, it's important you try. Otherwise you're putting pregnancy management in someone else's hands, and leaving yourself completely at risk for STIs.

I am right there with you. It takes all the pleasure out of sex. I suggest you have her get on birth control.
