Is $15.45 a good starting point for college grad?

Update:

I'm a CJ major and graduate in May. I applied for a case manager job in February, and receive an offer last week.

    What's a "CJ major"?

Does the job include any benefits such as health care?

A standard work year is 2000 hours. $15.45/hr is still below the poverty line in most states.

In California, the fast food workers make $15/hr and most of them barely finished high school. So do you really think $15.45 for a professional level job that requires a college degree is, by any definition, "a good starting point"?

It's an awful low salary even for someone with just a HS diploma. However considering you're only a CJ major, I guess it's OK:
