What is appealing about socialism?

Socialism is a tool for rebuilding a society that has fallen into disrepair or has come out of a war. Everyone is guaranteed a minimum basis for living by the State and luxury's are rationed.

According to all Liberals here in the USA, everything is Free, everyone is Equal, and the Rich simply do not exist.

What they keep forgetting about is that EVERYONE is as Poor as you possibly can get, except the Chosen Few that Oversee all others.

But those very same Liberals simply cannot understand or even explain why China has embraced Capitalism, Why the USSR has ceased to exist, why Russia has also embraced Capitalism, and Why have the majority of the Economies of the European Union Member States have fallen.

The deluded assurance that the ones who support socialism, can always take from others, when the going gets rough after not living within their means.

1) Capitalism is not a political system, but an economic one.

2) Socialism is more sensitive to signals of wealth inequality.

3) A Socialism that permits more market signals and personal freedoms can be superior to a Capitalism that permits pursuit of profit by an elite manipulating public policy.

Which form of it, some forms are more appealing then others, do you like raw chaos and no fed government, and only cities and local leaders having control, and so on.

I don't know.

The only truly successful lasting examples of Socialism I can think of are ant and bee colonies.

And since both ants and bees have very tiny brains and no self will, I can't relate to any humans who believe that the same principles can be applied in our own societies.

It's less likely that you'll wind up a serf to some rich dude bro.. you'll just wind up a serf to some rich dude with a gun to your head.

If you are lazy you will be taken care of. Sort of like what the Democratic Party preaches.

If you wish you could live with your mother and father for the rest of your life and have them take care of you and give you an allowance then socialism is appealing.

If you are the type that could not wait to be 18 and get out of the house to live your own life then socialism is not very appealing.

People can get paid to do nothing, a lot of money is wasted on such unproductive people.
