what's up with all black uniforms?

my grip is schools lose their identity.

ulca colors blue and yellow Stanford red ncst. red etc,, etc . when I watch the games I don't who playing I'm tuning channels.

is it a black thing like raiders and wsox

    When a football team plays a rival or very important game at home late in the season, it can wear an all black uniform.

    look at basketball and football teams. of course their our more teams that are not black.

    tenn. is orange .why black? it's losing their identity . iowa and purdue always had those colors.

    change them white and brown?

    ohio st are red colors,

    mich st are green,

    mich uni are yellow / blue,

    iowa are yellow and black

    purdue are gold and black

    uni of florida is blue and orange

    alabama is red and white

    black maybe an alternate color uniform for schools. but the majority of school's main color is not black.
