What was the influence of Nancy Reagan's stepfather on Ronald Reagan's politics?

Loyal Davis, MD was another outspoken neurosurgeon with strong conservative beliefs. His huge textbook of surgery was one of a few used by most medical students in the 1950s - 60s. Reagan was a liberal Democrat and union leader -screen actors guild - before he met Nancy. Did his father-in-law influence his politics?

Ronald Reagan's politics were influenced by meeting MANY Hollywood Democrats...Up until then he had no clue as to the amount of commies in America. Nancy Reagan's stepfather was just a 'normal' American, who had met 'Academic Democrats.'...Most normal people who meet Democrats for the first time, do NOT 'join the cult.'

Source(s): Chris Rock (famous Hollywood Democrat racist)~Hollywood is 'sorority racist.' It's like, 'We like you, Rhonda, but you're not a Kappa.’

He taught him to doze off.

Seems neurosurgeons have a knack for that.
