I am a retired pediatrician. I enjoy gardening as long as my wife pulls the weeds. I like to read non-fiction: biographies, history and a bit of political analysis. I have promised myself to try to read more of the books on TIME's list of the 100 best works of fiction in the 20th century. I also enjoy grandchildren. Have recently had surgery for prostate cancer (2011)
Any new electric cooktops available that require only a 30 amp circuit (220v)?
That was sufficient for our old one installed in 1993. The new ones I viewed in store or online all require 40 amps or even more. In my case a wiring upgrade alone would cost about $1000.

Used lacquer thinner and mineral spirits with OOO then OOOO. Eradicated small scratches and dents nicely, but left this white residue. Made worse by second application of clean solvents.

In other words, instead of shaping into a long baguette, just divide the dough into smaller pieces, let rise and bake as you would French bread.
