How should this guy feel about himself? Should he be happy with himself?
This guy promised a wonderful future to this girl, he proposed to her and made beautiful plans with her, he spent much time with her and promised to be hers forever. A few months later he leaves her because a leader of his faith tells him to leave the girl because her father is white (they are a racist group who hate white people) The guy seems to get over it quickly ..Is this man a good person? What type of person is he? Should the girl stay friends with him?

If he ditched her no they shouldn't be friends, however he may not be racist because he may want to stay on the side of his family rather than a girl not of his religion or culture. He may not be a racist because everyone has preferences but are not always racist. In my opinion I dont really get attracted to dark skin toned people however, I do not discriminate against the, and have many friends of that 'category' if you will. I do not think he is a good person though, because he chose to get with the girl and now has broken her heart. It's quite a horrible move to do that to someone to be quite honest, not a decent man at all.

He sounds like he can't think for himself and may be a bit of a jerk for ditching the girl over someone else's beliefs. I personally wouldn't advise staying friends with him.
