Is it okay for guys to straighten their hair?
My hair is getting really long and I don't want to cut it. My plan is to grow it past my shoulders and I just want to be able to have more options.

Yeah it's OK, I see many guys here with long hair.
But keeping it healthy is kinda a pain, I'd assume as male hair is very coarse.

No, it's not okay. A male will get cancer and die if he straightens his hair.

Yeah, of course you can! If anybody bugs you about it, just ignore them. Who cares what other people think?
Make sure you use heat protectant though, you don't want to get damaged hair.

no, get your hair cut, its basically impossible to be a guy and pull off long hair, completely impossible if its past your shoulders
