why does everyone on here just group up and fling **** at each other?

Unlike other sites where answerers are screened and selected due to their knowledge, Yahoo Answers is a site where ANYONE can be an "expert!" Anyone can also post nearly whatever they wish.

There was one guy in the automotive section that could fix anything by using Amzoil products! Hmm. I wonder what HE sold?

The R&S section has gone totally nuts. Several sections have become "rate this picture" sites (of course they are always pictures of someone else! I have also learned that herbal supplements cure cancer, diarrhea, mental illness, broken bones, and make sex better!

This site has become nothing more than an online Jerry Springer type gossip show! If you really want to learn go elsewhere. Legitimate answers still are read and "may" aide someone, but who knows what to believe on a site where there are no checks and balances?

Most of the people who come here are just here to pass the time but instead of asking and answering questions they decide to troll as it doesn't require much use of the brain.

Its gotten worse in recent months and you can really tell when the kids are out of school or on vacation because then its even worse. Relax, skip the questions that are offensive and answer the real ones...although sometimes those are few and far between.

Because it is fun and I and everyone else loves to do it. Everyone on this site is forced to listen to your opinions
