It's easier to prove experience than honesty..
Most people are not completely honest when seeking employment,it's almost a given..I would not judge a persons' honesty based on a job interview.

How can you judge whether a person is honest and will be an honest worker based on a job interview? Experience is what most employers with a brain will look for because you can't tell by meeting a person if they are an honest person. common sense now people.

honesty. too many people i know that simply lie in there interviews and then when they start working they simply are not all that great. if someone told me they had no experience i wouldn't care as long as i can teach them on the job i wouldn't mind. everyone starts off somewhere shet when i got my first job it took me forever because nobody wanted to hire me. i applied to fast food places they didn't even hire me. to me the most important thing about a job is someone who is willing to work hard. i could hire someone with lots of experience but lazy or i could hire someone with no experience but willing to work.
ontop of that in my field honesty is a must there are always theft in my field. theft is always common in my field. just the other day i went to my new job site and one of the workers brought in there own tools and we later found out that one of the old ladies at work stole it and hid it in her locker

Honesty is a given; I'm not going to hire anyone if I don't think I can trust what they say.
Experience would depend on the job. Not all jobs ar entry-level positions.
