My mom had hip surgery and now has been anxious and very depressed. Has anyone had this what anxiety helped if you took one?

It could be a drug that they used during the hip surgery (side effects). I myself suffer with anxiety disorder and depression too but mainly mood swings along with the anxiety. And since she has returned from the surgery with depression etc... it could be the drug that was used.
