What should I buy for my brother(15) for his birthday?

He is turning 15 in 8 days and I want to get him something (duh). He's being very broad and says he doesn't want anything/money but I hate doing that unless it's very last minute and I barely know them. He likes video games (has XBOX 1, XBOX 360 and Wii), music, and riding his bike sometimes. My max. price is probably $45ish.

Things I've ruled out (by asking him): Minecraft related stuff, model building stuff, "toys", room decor, skateboard.

I feel like that rules out pretty much everything, but I was hoping maybe some of you could think of something I can't.

Please help me. I'm just a confused teenage girl.

Well, rather than buy a 'thing', perhaps you could put it towards a specialised cake, or a restaurant meal - i.e. pay for his share of the bill instead of your parents paying it. Otherwise vouchers for an event out like Laserforce, etc. He seems to be a-ok with having 'things' right now.

Maybe a gift of another sort. How about a coupon book with things like, "I'll wash the dishes for you when it's your turn", offering to do chores he would normally have to do. Somethings are worth more than money to a fifteen year old guy.

Buy him a new video game. It's usually safe to go with call of duty or battlefield. If he's not into those types of video games I would get him or just get him new earbuds, earbuds are always useful!
